Topic: Southern Campaign Battlefields
Former Chapter President Scott Campbell, just returned from a tour of some of the major Revolutionary War battlefields in the South. He will be providing the Chapter with detailed descriptions of these historic locations and what occurred there. The battlefields Scott will be discussing include Cowpens, King’s Mountain, Guilford Courthouse. On a personal basis, Scott had patriot ancestors participate in each of these battles, all of which led to the ultimate defeat of British General Cornwallis at Yorktown.
Regular Monthly Meetings will be held on
July 19th, 2008; August 16th, 2008; September 20th 2008; October 18th, 2008; February 21st, 2009; and March 21st 2009 each beginning at 12:00 noon at the Tam O'Shanter Restaurant, 2980 Los Feliz Blvd., Los Angeles. 2008
